one of these days i’m going to be on some sort of a “normal” schedule. you know where you go to bed when most people do, and get up at an hour people comment is when they get up. instead i get up sometime between 4 and 5 am in an attempt to get more done in a day than is probably possible. everyone jokes with me that i just don’t sleep, but i do. i go “on the nod” during the week sometime between 9 and 10, even though i aim for an 11pm bedtime.
why do i bring this up? because i was up at sometime shortly after 4am this morning. wish it was in the studio, but alas, in my quest for gear i seem to welcome freelance work for the extra cash it brings in. 4am isn’t that early though. for awhile earlier in the year i was up between 3 and 4am every day. at least i’ve managed to shift that a bit.
You keep the hours of the elderly, Man. Seriously, when I was delivering papers to the “assisted living facilities” in Melbourne, those folks would be crawling around like yourself at about four in the morining, having gone to bed at nine the previous evening. Perhaps you have a case of mental progeria. Your brain is too old for your body. Well, not your brain, as you show no signs of being dotard. It’s something different altogether. Hehe… A new disease, we could call it Bugwonder’s Syndrome. Symptoms: insane ideas about art and science, early to bed and rise, a taste for expensive beers, addiction to computers. In the dark ages, you would have been a prime suspect for withcraft. Waking in the dark of the night to dance naked in the moonlight dappled forest, calling upon Satan to do harm to your adversaries. You’d probably end up being hanged or burnt at the stake. We could probably arrange that for you now, should you desire it…
