Funny how the photo was done on the 28th, and 4 days later we added another keyboard (proteus pk6) and another 1U synth (mo’phatt) thanks to Xipetotec. This was then followed with some new cables, a keyboard stand, and repatching the mixer. We’ve filled the mixer though. All that remains is a stereo channel (ear marked for an fx return already) and one mono channel (for a second mic or…). That’s 32 channels just completely filled up, and we aren’t even using all the available outputs on devices. The akai was scaled back to only using two of the available 8 sub outs, and we completely removed the sub outs from the procussion. At this point, we’re watching for d8bs as we need a good digital console and fast. If we had $15k, then we’d gladly pick up mackie’s digital xbus, but we don’t.
Production however is moving at a very steady pace. I’ve added the last time a track was updated in the list, and then ordered them from the most recent updated back to last updated. Hopefully this should help in terms of identifying which and when tracks have been updated. Eventually I’ll tie them to a database to allow for versioning and such, but at the moment I actually have to conciously set aside time to do the mix downs.
i took one with the camera on saturday. as soon as i finish the roll i’ll post it. i’m one of those freaks that still doesn’t own a digital. :)
