This afternoon I got the new look of the site up. There are still some issues regarding positioning in Internet Explorer (and I still need to add an alert for users using versions less than 6) that I hope to sort out this week. Gone is pretty much everything except for information and audio files.

Shweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. NWO.
seems that at 1024×768 (what it’s designed for) the footer covers the toggle for the tracks. but that’s only if you are using firefox with tabs and the developer toolbar. that’s a bummer. guess i’ll need to add in some additional javascript to “relocate” the footer when the inner height of the brower doesn’t meet the minimum required. this is the format of the site going forward though. some things will change with the flash version once it’s developed, but the background image is the “size” on the content window.
Choking Sun Stout v1.0 is being brewed today. Illness and other complications kind of delayed it (all of us have been sick with the crud for over a week). Lots of pictures being taken for you, probably of stuff you don’t even care about (crushing the grain, etc). Its creation will be chronicled.
Two words for you guys… Texas crude. Holy crap this is one seriously dark beer.
“Black as midnight, black as pitch… blacker than the foulest witch…”
Witch. Foulest. Heh. We know who that is. *snicker*.
hot damn! i’ve got the logo for the labels. do you want it as an eps or raterized? and if you want it rasterized what size and dpi? :D
However I can put it into Photoshop and print it in a label, I’ll take whatever file format works… Yeast is fermenting like mad. Woke up this morning and they had blown out the airlock. Had to sanitize and replace it with a new one this morning before work.
I think it is going to be a minimum of 7% ABV.
Figure I’ll have it in bottles in 3-4 weeks (1-2 week primary, 2 weeks secondary)…. then the real aging begins. The longer we wait… the smoother it’ll be. Although I think it’ll probably be pretty awesome by April.
so it’s got legs strong enough to not be contained. sounds like our kind of beer! sweet!
