well, on the first day of my trip to amsterdam (in fact before i’d even made it to amsterdam via the train from brussels) my backpack was stolen from over my head. seems the gypsy that “dropped change” on the floor beside us had a partner. So they walked off the train with my clothes, toiletries, car keys, and unfortunately my laptop. i’ve not hooked up my backup hard drive for it yet as i’m someone afraid to see what i lost. i know the midi device i was working on in max for live is gone as i’d never backed it up, but i’m hoping I at least have most of the sequencing for the last material we’ve recorded. if not its going to be a rather long and tedious effort as i reconstruct them.

so in case anyone lives along the train route from brussels to amsterdam, should you come across a black unbranded laptop with a lot of nice software on it (live, battery, scratch live, max for live, etc etc) i’d love to get it back. unfortunately i’m quite confident its in the same place as my wife’s phone: MIA.
