last night for the first time since we began working on the gallows gate and screaming creator, they were all reunited for a family portrait. only a matter of a couple more sessions and they will all be completed and ready for the show.

yesterday was the official end to boot camp. the gallows and the screaming creator are well along their way to completion and we’ve started to assemble press kits to sent out.
progress continues under the haze of a burning flame. paint fumes, drill bits, and razor blades are everywhere.
another day down in boot camp. the turntables, dj mixer, and the assorted gear piled above and below them are all wired up. to make sure audio was running through the system we spent some time not only messing around with existing tracks, but dropped on some tones on tail as we wound down for the evening. only my rack remains to be wired aside from the beast/kraken. i’ll need to hook up the g3 to the motu 896 to finish things up which should be rather easy.
we wrapped up the second day of boot camp last night. definitely not a giant visual change within the studio, but we have half of it wired and making noise. a handful of hardware parts and the gallows will be completed. unfortunately the humidity was close to 100% so we were unable to do any spray painting of the mannequins. hopefully it will be a bit drier this evening. if not, then i’ll be plugging in cables to the other half of the gear (the beast/kraken excluded).
